Meet the G&H Spirits Gin Alexander: a creamy, chocolatey boozy perfection of a cocktail.

Easy to make and oh so smooth on the tongue. Perfection in a glass. We used our LDN Initial Gin for this – Old Tom Gin can also be used if preferred. It’s one of our favourite cocktails here at Georgie & Henners. More commonly known as the brandy alexander, the original cocktail was in fact made with gin, and was allegedly the last cocktail made just before midnight of the US prohibition in 1920.

GIN ALEXANDER

• 25ml LDN Initial Gin
• 25ml chocolate liqueur
• 25ml cream
• 1 egg white (optional)
• Lightly grated nutmeg, to garnish

Method

1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and dry shake (without ice).
2. Then open shaker and add plenty of ice. Shake again and strain into a chilled coupe glass.
3. Lightly grated nutmeg garnish and serve.
