What better way to celebrate the end of term than with some gin and sparkle?!
Did someone say bubbly cocktail? What better way to celebrate the end of term than with some gin and sparkle?! The Georgie and Henners French 75 cocktail made with BST Initial Gin is a great way to see in the summer.
Served in a coupé glass or a Champagne flute, a French 75 (or a soixante-quinze, if you're ordering in France) declares its intention to party, no matter the circumstances.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add Initial Gin BST, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Give it a really good shake and strain into a flute. Top with champagne (or sparkling wine) and enjoy.
Our Initial Gin French 75 takes inspiration from the classic, whose name derives from the First World War. It’s named after the French 75-millimeter light field gun which due to its portability and rate of fire was hugely popular with the French army during the First World War. The drink that started as the "Soixante-Quinze", became the "75" Cocktail and then the "French 75". It’s said that the drink has such a kick, it feels like being hit by the weapon!
